How You Can Help

Become a Volunteer:
Reach out to those in need!  Farmington’s Services for the Elderly welcomes anyone who is interested in volunteering to help others in the community.  If you would like more information about our programs and how you can be of service by lifting the spirits of others, please call us at (860) 673-1441.

Donate to the Medical Equipment Program:
If you are in possession of any medical equipment that you no longer need we would greatly appreciate your donating it to us. Along with medical equipment we also take donations of unopened boxes of disposable undergarments.  This equipment, in many cases, is only needed for a short time and is very appreciated for those who are on fixed income.

Make a Donation:
Services for the Elderly is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to helping the elderly assume an independent life through services that allow them to pursue daily life with self-respect and dignity.  Because of the nature of our service, we do not have the ability to generate income to pay for staff and our programs.  We rely on our volunteers, the kindness of others, our partnership with the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and grants from philanthropic organizations, such as, the Hartford Foundation.  Your donations are a very important part of our ability to exist and touch the lives of others.

If you would like to make a financial donation by check, please send it to
